WHAT PYROCYCLE AIMS
Pyrocycle's real mission is clear: to succeed in making our world a better place. In this period when we see the consumption of electronic devices exploding, it is more important than ever to develop processes that reduce the ecological impact of each of the devices we use everyday.

We are currently only working with approved sorting centers and recovery programs.

We therefore do not yet accept the deposit of individual material.
START-UP FROM THE PILOT PLANT
Nothing is lost, nothing is created. Everything is changing. And it is in Anjou, in Montreal, that the transformation will take place! Pyrocycle plans to start up its production line in June 2021. This first phase will allow the patented chemical process to be tested on a medium scale in order to be able to increase the treatment capacity in the coming months.
WHAT TYPE OF WASTE DO WE TREAT
Pyrocyle processes electronic waste collected from major Quebec telecommunications companies or from approved sorting centers.
We only collect pre-sorted PCBs.
We collect pre-sorted printed circuits, hard disks, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), impact polystyrene (HIPS), and poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA).
RAW MATERIALS SELLING
At the end of the treatment, the e-circuits are transformed into raw materials which are put back into the circuit of the local economy. Our outputs become the inputs of other transformation processes that may be located in Montreal or elsewhere in Quebec. Our products therefore include base metals such as copper and precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and as well as phenolic and styrenic compounds that can re-enter in other plastic composition.
